    Young people are interested in politics

    The Scotsman takes a look at just a few young people's political views:

    "I also think the Government are becoming too controlling. I can understand why they're introducing things like the smoking ban, ID cards and the 90-day terrorist policy, but it all feels a bit nanny state."

    ...... Julia adds: "Yeah, it's not as democratic as it used to be. Those identity cards are just extreme. And the terrorist policy? That's just taking things too far."

    Kathleen adds: "He [George Bush] thinks the world is a game and it's not. I understand why the terrorists hate us so much. That's why it's important for us to understand from a young age. It means we can try to change things."
