Some important committee meetings this week

This week there appear to be quite a number of important committee meetings in parliament, according to the official website.

On Monday, the joint committee on human rights will meet to discuss British compliance with the UN conventions against torture at 3:15 PM.

On Tuesday, the Defence comittee will meet to look at Afghanistan at 10:30 AM, the publication of political memoirs will be discussed at the Public Administration Committee at 2:30, while the Standing Committee A will meet to look at the "Abolition of Parliament bill" at 10:30 AM, and 4PM

The Environmental Audit Committee will look at reducing carbon emissions from transport on Wednesday at 2:50 PM.

And on Thursday, standing committee A will once again look at the "Abolition of Parliament bill at 9 AM and 1 PM.

We will, of course do our best to inform readers about any important developments relating to the above issues.
