SNP leader attacks Blair's "blame it on God" message

    From icAyrshire:

Mr Salmond told a party meeting in Perth that Mr Blair did not look divinely inspired but "troubled, confused and with a great deal on his conscience". "God was not the co-author of the war in Iraq - George W Bush was the co-author." he said.

Alex Salmond has consistently condemned Blair and his Washington mentors since 2003 when I heard him speak eloquently at the mass anti-war rally in Glasgow. It's good to see he is still pursuing Blair and his claptrap. I have spent the last week trading blog insults with Bush supporting moonbats in the US who refuse to recognise the continuing collapse in Iraq. 'It's better than Saddam' is the best they can do. This is Blair's mantra too. How much of this dross do we need to put up with before enough Labour MP's hunt him out.

I have to agree with you Tony, Alex Salmond appears a very eloquent speaker, i've often said so.

As to your question in the last sentence, I really don't know, I hope for impeachment personally, but, unfortunately don't think that will happen.

Actually, it's not better than Saddam. Malnutrition and child mortality are up, women haven't been able to walk the streets safely in a couple of years, the murder rate is way, way up, and the country is on the verge of tearing itself apart. No, the U.S. has achieved the incredible - being worse than their old puppet.

Indeed djeb, that's so called "liberation" for you, unfortunately.

Spot on, guys. I've been having some fun on some grisly right wing blogs in the US with this post. Feel free to pass it on.

These 8,000 deserters are the intelligent American soldiers. The rest, 85% of whom think they are paying back Saddaam for 9/11, are in Iraq.
