Labour may be forced to sell its HQ

The BBC reports that New Labour looks likely to be forced to sell off its headquarters in Westminster, and extend its loans:

Barry Townsley, one of the 12 businessmen who helped bankroll last year's election campaign, has agreed to extend his £1m loan to 2008, the FT reports.

However, two others - Rod Aldridge, chairman of IT firm Capita, and Sir Christopher Evans, chairman of Merlin Biosciences - say they want their £1m loans repaid in full.
