"How many ballot papers would you like sir?"
Remember this, from last year? With the local elections taking place on the 4th May, if you suspect any dodgy goings on, contact the police, and your local electoral registration department as soon as possible:
Yesterday one voter in Charles Clarke’s constituency in Norwich claimed that he had been sent 14 ballot papers — three each for him and his wife at their current address, two each at their previous address, and four for the previous residents of their home. Kevin Kyle, a mortgage adviser, said: “The system is a farce.”We will, of course, be keeping our eyes peeled for reports of "voting irregularities" over the next few months.
