"Chip and pin" plans for id cards
Yet another reason for MPs to now vote against the id card bill when it returns to the Commons. Today's Guardian reports that id cards would include "chip and pin" technology. Why should shops, banks and other businesses need to know our identity before we can buy anything, or request a service? Just one word, NO, MPs should vote against this bill when it returns to the Commons.
