Man gets 3 years for Armenian holocaust denial

Of course, I doubt you'll ever see the headline, but people should be aware of this atrocity, just as people should be aware of other atrocities throughout history.

Background information on the Armenian Holocaust

Funny, but my server says I am forbidden to see the images at the link you posted. Good old American censorship, if this were images of another holocaust, I'm sure there would be no problem accessing the images.

I actually sought for the headline thinking you'd forgotton to link!
Yeah, well, the same could probably be said about denial of the Nanjing massacre by the Japanese.
Isn't it interesting that Israel also fails to recognise the Armenian genocide? I wonder if this is simply to please the friendly state of Turkey, or if it is to preserve the priveledged status of the Holocaust...

Ron, thanks for the comment, and welcome to "A Logical Voice". It's strange that isn't it.

Sorry Jez for being misleading, I thought the point was important enough though about there being several atrocities thoughout history, as you've stated, and I felt that was the best way to make the point. Indeed, I feel that all atrocities such as this should be recognised for what they are.

Oh, it's saying that to you as well djeb? That is bad. I wonder why people would want to censor this sort of site, which would only inform people about the Armenian holocaust?

yeah the images are forbidden here too. However, let's not jump to conclusions.Does 'forbidden' necessarily mean censorship, or could it just be a server problem? Just asking...

Jez, i'mnot to well up on these technicalities of the internet, which is why I used the term censorship.

You may know that we had some headaches here a couple of weeks ago, where an "evil one" managed to get into my Blogger account, and delete every post I was making, I would definitely call that censorship, given the facts. I really wondered whether a similar thing may have happened to that server, someone could have well hacked into it?

There are a number of reasons that access might prove impossible from a certain computer or ip server. I was banned from my brother's server for a while b/c of a security problem from my ip.
