Majority of British army company regularly took cocaine, ecstasy, or marijuana

According to this report, from today's Sunday Times, drug abuse is rife in the British army:

He was aware of between 15 and 20 soldiers who were so addicted they had withdrawal symptoms when they could not obtain the drugs. “There’s guys who have to have two or three lines of coke in the morning before they can operate,” he said.

    Oh, dear.

If they were on pot, they'd be too mellow to kill - hardly a bad thing. But on coke? Yikes! That might explain the video of the soliers beating the Iraqi teens.

Indeed, a rather bad thing. And, if true that the majority of British troops are on drugs, then I would think there have been far more cases of abuse than have been reported, I guess they didn't all film their criminal behaviour.
