Ian Blair criticised over "inadequate" murder report

According to this article, from the Sunday Times, the Met police chief, Ian Blair, responsible for the cover up over the murder of Jean Charles de Menezes last July has been criticised by the Metropolitan Police Authority over the report of a murder:

Morgan was found in a car park in Sydenham, south London, with an axe in his head in 1987 and his family accused the police of high-level corruption and a cover-up. The family were convinced he had been killed by a professional hitman after uncovering evidence of police corruption. Two detectives were arrested at the time but never prosecuted and received substantial damages for wrongful arrest and false imprisonment. Further investigations led to the arrest of a former officer in January 2003 on suspicion of “misconduct in a public office”, but this was also dropped due to insufficient evidence.
Once again, police officers have got away with crimes committed. See all recent "A logical Voice" posts
