Police officer involved in murder of Brazilian given paid holiday

I'm quite sure that had a murder victim been the member of the police force, they would not pay for a suspect to go away on holiday with their family. This is an absolute disgrace, the BBC reports:

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "An officer has had a break paid for by the Metropolitan Police, authorised by the commissioner, to allow him to take his wife and family away from the family home." One of the other officers is already on a family holiday.
I wonder if the police paid for their holiday as well. Disgusting. These people are being treated for committing a crime. See all recent "A Logical Voice" posts

I certainly hope the British government is going to pay some kind of indemnization to the victim's family who relied on his remittances.

that would be the very least. However, indemnisation without accountability for those responsible would be a disgrace for our democracy(assuming we have one).

They should do Sangroncito, and, as Jez has rightly stated, they should also be held accountable for their crimes.
