    Fuel protesters begin campaign

It seems those in charge of the fuel protests have decided to bring the date forward of their demonstrations. They were planned to begin on the 3rd May, but according to this article, from the BBC, protesters have begun a picket of a Cheshire oil refinery:

By setting up outside Stanlow oil near Ellesmere Port, they want to make fuel prices an issue in the general election, said organiser David Handley. One tanker has already been stopped by the group, which consists of 14 tractors and about 20 people on foot.
