"Anything could happen" on election night

Indeed, anything could happen, if traditional Labour Party voters vote with their principles, rather than be allowed to be taken in by the scare tactics of Blair & Co. This article, from the BBC:

The Lib Dems are flying a banner over Blackpool and other "Labour heartlands" as they enter their final campaign push. Mr Kennedy told BBC News: "As we know from our travels around the country, the contests are so different in different regions, within different constituencies that frankly anything can happen."

It seems to me that everyone of us owe it to those who died in Iraq to vote Blair out of office. If he remains in office no one at all will ever be punished for this unnecessary war that as brought sham to this country and tragedy to Iraq.
By the way Michael Howard says that if Blair would lie over the war he will lie about anything. If Blair will lie about watching Jackie Milburn play when he was a kid I suspect that deep down the man doesn`t even know what the truth is!

jc, I would certainly agree that we all owe it to the families of all those slaughtered at the hands of the US led forces in Iraq, and the families of any future victims of US led crimes of aggression in Iran to teach this New Labour lot a lesson they will never forget.

Anonymous, I'd certainly like to see a few shocks on election night, maybe starting right at the top, with Blair being defeated by Reg Keys in Sedgefield, Craig Murray defeating Jack Straw in Blackburn, and Rose Gentle defeating the armed forces minister, Adam Ingram.

It seems to me,that not only should Blair be voted out of office because we owe it to everyone who died in Iraq, but he should be voted out of office for the simple reason that this is a man who is a LIAR,a man who has no scruples, a man who is beligerant, man who refuses to listen to the British people. The Geroge Bush of British politics. These are not qualities that I want in a leader.I've always voted Labour, however not only to I regret ever voting for Blair,to see the back of this smarmy man and his government,is my fondest wish.
