Voters of Britain, we are the jury in this election

Although many traditional Labour voters have consistently opposed the illegal invasion of Iraq, they will dutifully register their party political loyalty at the ballot box regardless on the expected date of the general election, the 5th May. Grassroots Labour Party supporters must realise that in this election, they are part of the jury, in a national trial of Blair & Co, and their lies and deceit which led this country to go along with the Bush regime will not be tolerated. (not even for party political reasons) From the Sunday Herald:

Shortly before the war began, Tony Blair told the BBC that Saddam Hussein could remain in office provided he complied with UN weapons inspectors and that he was entitled to keep his army, navy and air force. Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, who among you believes the Prime Minister made this statement honestly? We now know from leaked memoranda from his chief foreign policy advisor, David Manning, that the Prime Minister agreed a strategy of deception of the UN and the British public in which the threat of WMD would be hyped up and the UN inspectors be found to have failed.

Guilty as charged, a vote for blair is a vote for bush, anyone who votes labour for reasons other than being lied into a war is a coward and a chicken, its time to wake up.
bush & blair soulmates today, cellmates tomorrow.

Preaching to the chior here, but I think Blair should have resigned 2 days after he said that the February Dossier was the latest intelligence in the House of Commons. That was when it became apparent that the February dossier was copied partly from a student thesis atht was about the Iraq of the 1980's. The dossier was not compiled by intelligence but by a junior grunt in the spin-factory at No. 10.

Blair MUST have known this and to my mind, this was the most blatant of many lies he told. Why the media completely ignore this dossier and particularly Blairs lies about it is beyond me. Staw's calling it a 'Horlicks' is not good enough.

I agree, It's time we used this election as a trial of bliar's lies.

If Labour lose the election, they only have themselves to blame. They should have kicked Blair out and got Brown in before now.

It's almost "ABB" - Anyone But Blair.

Trouble is that Gordon Brown will mean a return to ("Old") Labour policies of redistribution of wealth (real or imagined) and the politics of social envy.
Send him back north of the Wall ASAP.

Lib Dems have benefitted by being a fringe but I'm not sure they take a firm stand on anything of substance. Kennedy comes across as a lightweight.

So it's some of UKIP's ideas mixed with the Tories as the best prospect for the future, however that plays out.

Bottom line: Out with Labour, Old or New.

When you vote for Blair- You vote to legalise his actions. Blair will claim the same way Bush claimed when he said his actions were judge by the voters. Want to be a clever Britisher or a stupid American?

I certainly agree that Blair is guilty as charged, anyone who has followed the goings on since long before the illegal invasion of Iraq could find no other verdict.

The voters in the pro war MP's seats must also come to that conclusion, and oust those who supported the invasion from their seats.

Uh hu. The way that Bliar has embarrassed britain before the entire world is sickening but who are you going to vote for? Whats the alternative?

The tories will kiss up to the yanks in exactly the same pathetic way and take us back to the bad old days of boom & bust economics.

Whats so bad about stealing from stupid arabs anyway?

When Blair came in as noo labor leader I felt then there was something very weird about him. His pious speeches never seemed to tally with his actions and being an open person myself, for a while I could not work him out. When I did it became so easy. He is just a completely plausible LIAR, with everything, not just the invasion of Iraq. The fact of which everyone now realises.
