Bush regime have proved by their actions, they're no "Christians"

Now, more than ever, following the distasteful slap in the face to the victims of the tsunami tragedy, it is imperative that people show the Bush regime exactly what they think of their so called "compassionate conservatism". Many in the Bush regime claim they are "Christians", but true "Christians" would not authorise torture and abuse, true "Christians" would not authorise "rendition", true "Christians" would not stand idly by while millions are deprived of their livelihoods, their homes, their families, food, water and sanitation. So called "compassionate conservatives" (if ever there were an oxymoron this is it) would not spend more on the so called "inauguration" of a war criminal than they would spend on providing assistance to millions in need; so called "compassionate conservatives" would not lie about a threat faced by their nation in order to justify the invasion of another nation; so called "compassionate conservatives" would not allow banned weapons, such as napalm to be used in Fallujah, so called "compassionate conservatives" would not allow troops to be trained to believe that every Iraqi is a potential terrorist. The way the rogue regime in the US has behaved is a disgrace, and the US can no longer claim itself to be a "civilised society" when it allows criminals and liars to take charge of their country. The people of America, must, if they want the world to see that the rogue regime do not reflect real American principles speak out. There are demonstrations planned in the US in January and March. There is also the opportunity for Americans to contact their representatives to urge them to challenge the results of the vote fraud tainted US Presidential elections. If Americans want the world to believe that the criminal ways of the Bush regime do not reflect the true American spirit, then they must demonstrate, they must contact their representatives, and they must make it known that the slap in the face the rogue regime has given to the victims of the tsunami disaster will not be tolerated in a "civilised society". Time is running out, before the rogue regime will once again be installed as the so called "leaders of the free world". Real, true Christians need to make it clear that Bush does not represent their faith. True "compassionate conservatives" need to stand up and be counted. Good luck to my American friends in their efforts, I have always believed the US has a great capacity to do good in the world, but the past 4 years have severely dented the world's view that that capacity is still available.

As an Argentinean who grew up in Santa Barbara CA and then, travelled the entire world in search of a nice place to settle down with my Japanese wife, I can now successfully say that I will NEVER go back to the U.S., and I will NEVER, by action or inaction, do anything that brings any benefit, being economic or material, to the U.S.

The U.S. used to be a dream for dreamers who forged a great power, but like Rome and Napoleon proved, its Waterloo is close, in fact it is closer than we think.

If we allow ourselves to think that 9-11 was brought to us by radical islam, and that Bush actually won the 2004 elections, and think that 200,000 dead Iraqis and countless next generations of mutants due to radioactive bullets, are actually true and positive things, then we shall all perish in the depths of hell with a fat smile on our horrendous faces.

I stand for freedom of choice, my choice is: down with the U.S.A., since its people lost control, down with bush, down with the neocons, and down with the huge, magnanimously corrupting corporations who are making a toilet out of the whole planet.

In my land, any american shall pay 20000% tax on any business, cause thats what costs to clean their crap up.

Thanks to you also for your comment, I have to admit, if I were in charge of any country, I would be pushing for UN sanctions to be imposed upon any donors to the Republican party, for their part in the crimes committed in the name of Bush's false crusades. After all, the rogue regime has in the past sought fit to push for sanctions against any country it deems to be in breach of international law.

These sanctions would not impact too heavily on the vast majority of ordinary Americans, but would see those behind criminal acts punished for their part in crimes against humanity.

At present, I still have enough faith left in human nature to believe that the American people will stand up and be counted, I don't feel that ALL Americans should become targets of sanctions though.

Hello aaagirfan, thanks for visiting. I do appreciate that real Christians should oppose Bush as a false prophet, however, I think church leaders should be more open in saying so.

    a quote:
Life is a pilgrimage over the rough and weary road of the world. But, with the Name of God on his lips, the pilgrim will suffer no thirst; with the Form of God in his heart, he will feel no exhaustion. Remember that with every step, you are nearing God. It is one continuous journey, through day and night; through valley and desert; through tears and smiles and through birth and death. When the road ends, and the Goal is gained, the pilgrim finds that he has travelled only from himself to himself. He realises that the God he sought was all the while in him, around him, and beside him!

I only recently found religion and I know God does not take sides, Democrat or Republican, red or blue, liberal or conservative, no matter who is our leader, our intrests are not in their heart, i can only pray that God will help us all. Bush is not a good man, but Kerry also has blood on his hands im sure, it is time for change, time to show compassion to the rest of humanity and stop this constant state of perpetual war

I find comfort in knowing recorded history will allways prove that most empires will rise and then fall. We are now in the midst of the most important phase of mankind. I Like the native Indian tale about the boy telling his Grandfather that two wolves are fighting in his heart. Will the good wolf or the bad one win? And the wise response. The one that you feed.

It's so funny that these "evangelical christians" side with Bush and his regime. The spend so much time reading revelations but fail to see (like the book says) that Bush fits the signs of the anti-christ better than ANYONE IN HISTORY! Now I'm a non believer (but respect the beliefs of others, unlike these so called "christians") but I love nothing better than to point this out, and then shoot down every attempt to justify that Bush is a true christian with rebuttales from their own book!
    some points to look into:
The anti-christ will use a new church to misled the multitudes (majority) BAPTISITS ARE A VERY NEW SECT!
The anti-christ will use war and say it is peace.
He will be the leader of New Rome. (many say the new european union is the new rome, because of geography and because it founded from 13 states, but it actual started with 10 and was at thirteen states for a very brief period. America fits the bill more precisly with its 13 original colonies, thus the 13 bars on their flag.
Now I think prophesies are a joke, but they are very easy to twist around to suit who ever uses them and say "look they have come true!" why let them have all the fun?

the shrub is a liar, a clod and a bore. Please realize that it doesn't matter who got in, though, because there's too much money in this country to be looted by just one party. BUT....my dog would be more socially acceptable then this sorry person. I personally aplogize for the behavior of this miserable excuse of an elected (?) official.

Hey, let's get a couple of things straight - okay?

#1: You'll get no argument from me that the idiot from
from Crawford, Texas is a certifiable piece of war criminal, lying, treasonous, despicable human GARBAGE.
This mass murdering slimeball deserves to be dragged out of that office in chains, tossed in prison, tried and convicted of war crimes and war profiteering.

    But, here's my other point:

#2: I'm getting sick and tired of the entire freaking planet viewing the United States as their 'sugar daddy' and of these constant issued demands that the American taxpayer cough up their hard earned money to pull the rest of the world's cherries out of the fire every time there's a tragedy of some sort. This nation is $7 PLUS trillion DOLLARS IN DEBT, MORONS! This nation is on the verge of bankruptcy and total economic, financial collapse. We are NOT a gigantic breast full of MILK that every Third World derelict has a God-given right to take a swig off of, anytime they feel like it.

Got that? To those Americans who WANT to donate a portion of their paychecks to help these unfortunate people, I say that's really great. Pull out your checkbook and stroke a check. But, do NOT think that this government is RESPONSIBLE for fixing the world's misery by sending billions of OUR TAX DOLLARS to every hell hole on Earth in the form of a gift that we'll never see a penny of in return.

America is broke. Stop feeding off of US, OK?

The post I'm commenting to states correctly that the USA is broke.

Yet the USA has sufficient funds to carry out an illegal war. In other words, the USA has enough money to spend on evil, but not enough to spend on good. That is the message that I'm hearing.

A large portion of the USA's wealth is ill-gotten-booty and spoils of war - Nothing to be proud of.

The IMF leeches trillions$ worth of resources from poor countries as part of a debt collection that is very criminal. Some European countries are also guilty of this.

The USA prints paper fiat currency that has value in large part because OPEC trades most of its oil for dollars - meaning that most countries must use their currencies to buy dollars in order to be able to purchase oil.

The US exists on land stolen from native-Americans. It has used cheap and free labor in the form of slaves and immigrants.

I am greatly angered at people of the USA who don't understand that their country steals much more from the world than it gives.

Church Parishioner Father Panaritius of the Church of Nativity in Palestine has stated that Bush, Rummsfield, and Blair are forbidden from entering the church because "They are war criminals and murderers of children."

This is a good move. But it should have been done long ago. The USA has a long history of usurping democracies and installing dictators. The USA has a long history of bombing and shooting civillians ( over 300 thousand in the Philipines in the beginning of the 20th century, for instance. )

The actions of the USA are contradictory to Christianity.
The Evangalists in the USA must be made to understand that their "Dominionism" is not Christian in any sense of the word.
The "Christianity" of the USA is a return to the so called "Christianity" of the Crusades, the Spainish Inquisition, and Charlemagne's massacre of the pagan Saxons for their refusal to convert.

This not the Christianity of Jesus Christ.

The last I heard, initiating a war for oil was not one of the things that Jesus Christ advocated. Beginning a war based on bearing false witness (weapons of mass destruction) was not one of the things that Jesus advocated. In fact, I don't recall Jesus Christ advocating the initiation of a war based on any grounds at all.

Well, he is always give the "horns-of-the-devil" sign with his hand.

"[D]o NOT think that this government is RESPONSIBLE for fixing the world's misery by sending billions of OUR TAX DOLLARS to every hell hole on Earth".

I'd just be happy if the U.S. stopped creating and/or supporting hell holes on Earth.
